Important Admissions Dates for 2026-2027

  • August 1, 2025:  New student applications available
  • September 25, 2025: Middle School Information Session, 6 p.m.
  • October 9, 2025 & November 6, 2025:  Open Houses 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • October and November:  “Eagle for a Day” shadow days, incoming grades 2-8
  • December 8 & 9, 2025:  Readiness screening for incoming PreK 4, Kindergarten, and 1st grade
  • December 12, 2025:  Deadline for new student applications
  • Accepted new students notified on or before January 23, 2026
  • February 28, 2026:  FACTS Grant and Aid Applications due

Rolling admissions will continue after January 23, 2026, for grades with remaining capacity.

A waitlist for admission at each grade level will be kept for grades with capacity enrollment.

To be considered for the waitlist, a completed application must be on file.

Fall Open Houses

October 9, 2025 and November 6, 2025

 Come explore the campus, meet faculty and parents and learn about our academic and faith-based programs. Open House tours will be led by Admissions staff and veteran parents.  Visit any time 9 a.m. through 11 a.m.

Private Tours

We are happy to arrange a tour of our school for you during a convenient time. Simply contact the school office to schedule a time. Tours are typically scheduled Monday- Friday 9am to 1:30pm, but additional accommodations can be made if needed. 

“Eagle for a Day” Shadow Day

 Students applying for grade 2 through grade 8 are required to complete an “Eagle for a Day” Shadow Day.  Younger students will attend half of the day, while students entering grades 5 through 8 will participate in a full day at SJE.  During the shadow day, students will be assigned to an SJE student buddy as the prospective student explores a day in the life of an SJE student.  During their time at SJE, prospective students will also participate in screening assessments in reading and math. 

What Families Need to Know About Prospective Student Visits

1. Please arrive at the school office by 9:00 am on your scheduled day.

2. All prospective students must follow the school dress code:

• When choosing what to wear, consider items that would be considered “Sunday best.” Clothing may not contain terms, logos, pictures, cartoons, slogans, writing, or images that are offensive, political, harassing, or discriminatory in nature.

• Dresses, skirts, or shorts may be no more than two inches above the knee (Shorts are only to be worn from the start of the school year until October 31 and April 15 to the end of the school year)

• All shirts must be modest and cover the shoulders and neckline. Students are strongly encouraged to wear a collared shirt. 

  • Students should wear closed-toed shoes.
  • Pants and shirts should be cleaned and pressed and without tears, shreds, or holes.
  • Clothing should be modest. Tightly fitted or revealing clothing (including leggings) are not permitted.
  • No jewelry for boys and minimal jewelry for girls

3. Please come prepared to be outside with appropriate weather attire

4. Please bring your own lunch, snack, and water bottle.

5. Pick-up time will be confirmed at drop-off.
