Re-registration and New Admissions Timeline

Due to a significant uptick in enrollment interest and having three grades with a current enrollment near our self-imposed class size limit, we have restructured our re-registration process and new student acceptance process to more fairly reserve places for our current families while not losing prospective new students.

Nov 19, 2018  (Monday of Thanksgiving week)
Re-registration instructions to be emailed to current families. The re-registration fee is $250/child with maximum of $500/family and will be credited toward 2019-20 tuition. Current families who want to enroll new-to-St. John School siblings, should do so no later than December 31, 2018.

Dec 31, 2018
This is the deadline for re-registration signature and $250 re-registration fee. This reserves a seat for a returning student until the contract deadline, Apr 12, 2019. 

Current students not re-registered by Dec 31, 2018 will be unable to re-register until Feb. 4, 2019 (if seats are still available.)

Jan 7, 2019    
New students (who applied by Dec 31, 2018) to be sent acceptance letters. If applications necessitate, a wait list will be started.

Jan 18, 2019                       
This is the deadline for new student registration signature and $150 new student registration fee. This reserves a seat for a new student until the contract deadline, Apr 12, 2019.

Jan 21, 2019
If seats are still available after the new student registration deadline, wait-listed students will be sent acceptance letters.

Feb 1, 2019
This is the deadline for wait-listed new student registration signature and $150 new student registration fee. This reserves a seat for a new student until the contract deadline, Apr 12, 2019.

Feb 4, 2019-Mar 31, 2019  Open Enrollment Period
A re-registration signature and $250 re-registration fee or a registration signature and $150 new student registration fee (as appropriate) will reserve a class seat in the order in which contracts are received for both returning and new students.

Apr 1, 2019                          
Contracts to be sent to all registered (both new and returning) students.

Apr 12, 2019                       
This is the deadline for contract signatures and payment of $300 contract deposit. This guarantees a seat for the 2019-20 school year.

Apr 15, 2019
If seats become available after the contract deadline because students were registered but did not contract, and there are still wait-listed students, those wait-listed students will be sent acceptance letters.

New and returning students registered but not contracted by Apr 12, will be unable to complete a contract until Apr 29, 2019 (if seats are still available.)

Apr 26, 2019
This is the deadline for a wait-listed new student $150 new student registration fee, contract signature and payment of $300 contract deposit.

These deadlines are most important to grades in which there are more applications than seats available. At the time of this publication (Nov 2018) we expect that to include PreK 4, Kindergarten, and Grade 6.
